Advice from a 10 year old who completed an 8-week course: “When you’re stressed, don’t take it out on anyone, just do 5 breaths”
95% of pupils said yes, they will be more mindful, think about their breathing and that the techniques have helped them when they have been feeling stressed.
The majority of pupils said they would continue to use their mindful breathing techniques. Most pupils said they now recognise their anger and will think about their choices to stay calm and control their emotions better.
The majority of feedback is that the course has helped in many ways especially to keep calm, be less worried, make the best choice, control anger be kind to self and others and talk to people about any problems.
BEGINNERS MINDFULNESS COURSE
“The circle of control and self-care routines are very effective tools. The course has helped embed my learning and helped to understand the importance of mindfulness by being able to discuss and practically apply it. Great course, the right length.
